Expect to be disliked also. Do you expect to be seen? Expect to be unseen and ghosted too. Do you expect to be treated with care? Expect to be treated like a piece of crap too. Do you expect that someone should cuddle you, hug you? Expect to hug yourself on most days. Do you expect to be treated like a child? Expect that no one but you sees yourself as a child, so be treated like an adult. Do you expect to be given? Expect everything to be taken away from you. Do you expect that you will live your life with someone and live happily ever after? Well, fuck that shit because stuff like this only happens in fairy land. Do you expect to be spoken to when you’re lonely? Well, expect to be lonely for a long time because no one can read your thoughts unless you tell them. Do you expect to be praised and appreciated for all the good and selfless work you do? Well, expect to be ignored, expect every damn thing you’ve done for anyone to be ignored. Do you expect, expect, expect? Well, then don’t expect, don’t expect, don’t expect.

Life will not give you what you expect all the time. Maybe sometimes you do get lucky but not always, so expect the unexpected. Live your life each day expecting the unexpected.
