Yesterday, my teacher had a session on change and impermanence. He said there is change and no change. Is there a line between things that are changing and not changing? He said it’s good to reflect on this and so here I am doing just that.
Is there a line between change and no change? Is this even a question? If there isn’t a question, will there be an answer and if there isn’t an answer, will there be a question?. Is there a line between your boundary and my boundary? Is there a line between what is black and white? Is there a line between you and me? Is there a line between God and me? If there isn’t a line between any of this, then I definitely think there isn’t a line between change and no change. It’s one and the same thing. It is two sides of the same coin. It’s Shiva and Shakti. It’s Krishna and Radha. It’s consciousness and energy. It is all of this and none of this. It is you and me and me and you. It’s me and the world and the world and me. There is no line here. The line is an imaginary one that’s been man made. Is there a line between the sky and clouds? The river and the ocean? Then I think there can’t be a line between change and no change. “No change” is a part of change and change is a part of “no change”. They go hand in hand and can’t be separate.
What do you think? Tell me in the comments below. Is there a line that divides change from no change?
